MOLLUSKS & ANNELIDS
If you're looking about you on a moist morning, it might seem at first glance that there was just one kind of snail, and perhaps one kind of slug living on campus. In reality, that would only be true if you were referring to native snails and slug species, of which there are one apiece. And even so, those may not be the species you are most likely to see. As many as twelve gastropods have been carefully documented on our campus, and you can begin to get to know each one of them here.
Many thanks to Thomas Everest for his excellent work identifying campus mollusks and introducing them to us here!
