The great horned owl’s soft but resonant song can be heard in the early evening and throughout the night and early morning hours on campus. This owl image was captured by trail cam near its nest. 

The fledgling owl in the video below was one of a family with three fledglings, that caused consternation among the crows every time they flew from one tree to another.  See if you can hear all three fledglings in the second audio recording.
